Shop Local This Christmas: Yes Chef

We are so fortunate to have so many wonderful merchants right on our doorsteps. Being a supporter of our community, I wanted to post a blog of a couple of my favourite merchants in the Abbotsford area. Being an interior decorator, I have focused mainly on home décor.

Our first stop will be, Yes Chef, fabulous kitchen based store on Montrose. Yes Chef is filled with top notch kitchen housewares from SMEG to Le Creuset. There is something for every baker, chef and barbeque specialist along with classes hosted by popular chefs. Around every corner are special gifts for every occasion. Below are a couple of photos of pieces that captured my eye.

When I was first married my sister gave me this tiered Angel Chime in brass. For years it was one of our special Christmas pieces. My kids loved to sit and watch the angels turn round listening to the bells ding.

These leather mitts and potholders have been my “go to” gift for the “hard to buy for people” on my list. I love them!
