Introducing Contractor Chris

Every designer knows the magic of a project lives not only in the concept but in the hands that bring it to life. We are excited to launch our Creative, Curator, and Craftsman series to celebrate people who embody intention, artistry, and collaboration. We begin with Contractor Chris.

Chris started his 23-year career in construction. If you have lived on Eagle or Sumas Mountain for the past decade, there is a good chance he helped frame your home. Over time, he shifted from large-scale projects to working independently.

His ingenuity, calm energy, and creativity are what make him an ideal partner for us. You can find him working on new builds, renovations, and commercial projects.

Today Chris is the person we call for custom carpentry and detail-driven work. He understands our vision and often elevates it with thoughtful solutions. Challenges do not intimidate him. He approaches each with steady confidence and a belief that collaboration leads to the best results.

At this moment Chris is crafting two custom tables. He is using fir, a humble and accessible wood, and transforming it with a smoking technique. The finish reveals rich tones and depth that feel refined and timeless. The process highlights his resourcefulness and intention.

This is why Chris is our first featured Craftsman. He is more than a contractor. He is a creative partner, a problem solver, and a maker whose work proves that vision and craftsmanship together are never ordinary.
